Happy Thursday! I don't know about you, but I'm ready for a beer or three.

Everyone will be receiving their BackerKit survey shortly. Please fill this out to make sure your game gets into your hands. As we mentioned before, if your shipping address changes between now and ship time, you'll be able to update it later as needed.

On the BackerKit survey, you'll also have the option of adjusting your order. So for example, you can upgrade to the game + booster pack pledge level if you only pledged for the game previously. Also, you can add additional sets to your order if you're feeling generous and want to shower your other cool friends with a gift. Pricing is the exact same as it was during the campaign, meaning backers get the best deal around.

That's all. Be on the lookout for the BackerKit email. It'll have the subject line: Response Needed -- Get your reward for CoolCats & AssHats .

Production Update and Surveys

Production Update

Not a lot of funny business to report because we've been working our asses off to get everything in line and off to the manufacturer. Over the past few weeks we've been working with the printer to finalize every file's cmyk, gsm, dpi, and bleed - I know, exciting stuff. The good news is, all artwork and card files have been handed off to begin the production process. By the way, we're using Ad Magic (the same guys who make Cards Against Humanity and Exploding Kittens) to print all of our games, so we're in good hands. While we don't know yet exactly when our game will ship, the production and shipping process typically takes about 3 months, so we're targeting August for everyone to have their game in their hands.

Surveys

Speaking of shipment info, we'll be sending out surveys through BackerKit to make sure everyone gets their game. You'll get an email with a link to your personal survey so you can fill out all relevant shipping information. Don't worry though, you won't need to create a BackerKit account or anything. And if your address changes between the time you fill out the survey and the time the game ships, you'll be able to update anything through BackerKit as needed.

In The Meantime

Here's an example of the final card layout. The inside of each card will feature the card image, task, and in this case, a claw, which represents a potentially offensive/drinking related card. The claw enables you to easily pull out cards as needed if you decide to play a game with your grandma or 5-year-old cousin.

We come bearing gifts. Specifically, the Print N' Play version of the game that we promised late in our campaign.

If you're too lazy to make your own set, make sure you still check out the Print N' Play file so you can get all jacked up after you see every card in the game.

Before we let you get back to pranking, here are a few more progress updates:

• We've finalized all content and artwork for the main game.
• We're putting the finishing touches on the NSFW booster pack content and the artwork is ready to rock and roll.
• All packaging artwork will be finalized by early next week. We were able to fit the rules right on the bottom of the box so that means you don't have to worry about losing a piece of paper.

So what does that mean? By late next week we'll be delivering all files to our printer so they can get to work!

Moving forward, the game can be pre-ordered on our page here: CoolCats & AssHats Web Site. This means all of your buddies who missed out on the Kickstarter can still pick up their copy now (at a slightly higher price, of course).

CAMPAIGN ENDS, WORK BEGINS!

Over $21,000 raised by 420 amazing individuals...just like we drew it up! haha

But seriously, in case you haven't read it enough, we are humbled by the support for our game. What started as a casual conversation years ago just turned a BIG page and has begun a new chapter. We couldn’t be more excited to begin it with...you genuinely bad-ass CoolCats.

So, what happens now?

Well here's a summary of the work we are starting today:

• Reaching out to our VIP backers to get the name they want printed on the box as well as the cards they want added to the final game
• Finalizing our box design (p.s. - we are striving to have the rules printed on the box so you don't have to keep track of a stupid piece of paper. Because, that sucks.)
• Finalizing and putting a bow on all card content
• Finalizing the artwork for all cards
• Finalizing a B&W "Print N' Play" version (we hope to send this within 1-2 weeks)
• Communicating with our printer to make sure they are ready to proof and print

As all of this behind the scenes type of work takes place we have a singular goal in mind. Get your game into your hands as soon as humanly possible. And we're going to bust our ass to make that happen.

You'll also be receiving emails from Kickstarter to confirm payment info. Once that's all wrapped up, we'll be sending out a survey to confirm all pledge information. Expect to see that in about 2 weeks after Kickstarter processes everything on their end.

From here on out our updates will slow in regularity (probably once every week or two). To keep up with us elsewhere, follow along as we post on Twitter, Instagram, and/or Facebook.

Over $20K - More Cards Unlocked!

We're across the $20K threshold which means everyone gets an extra 15 NSFW cards in their booster packs! Woohoo!

Speaking of NSFW booster packs, here's a sneak peak of the design we're finalizing for the cards so you'll easily be able to tell them apart from the regular deck:

If you pledged for a regular set and now want the extra NSFW cards, there's still time to change your pledge level to the game + booster pack.

Another update on design - we've decided to put a small notifier in the corner of all cards we consider PG-13 or under. This will make it easy for you to quickly piece together a deck for games with parents or perverts!
